LIFE OF A STAR SONG
Star song
A star begins
A cloud in space
Gravity pushes in
On this hydrogen haze
Nebula-
A hydrogen cloud
Sing it loud
It’s floating proud
A star begins
A cloud in space
Gravity pushes in
On this hydrogen haze
Gravity
Pushes in
As it shrinks
It begins to spin
In the center
Too much pressure
Hydrogen explodes
Beyond measure
Nuclear explosion
Hydrogen fusion
New atoms are born
In this confusion
Hydrogen fuses
In the core
That’s what the nuclear
Explosions’re for
Gravity pushes in
Heat pushes out
That’s what a
Star’s about

After core’s
Massive explosion
Comes a zone
Of radiation
Here hot
Gases rise
Frantically reaching
For the skies
At the surface
hot gases burn
Releasing light
They now return
Back to the center
Cooled gases flow
After the surface
That’s where they go
Beyond the surface
A halo of light
Brings to earth
Life and sight
Finally
Hydrogen no more
Gases now
Fall through the floor
The star collapses
By gravity
Soon to explode
Which we can see
For billions of years
A star will last
But when it collapses
It explodes fast
