Sun Poem
the sun
the sun
the sun
The sun excites
Everyone
the frogs and the fleas
and the fields of grass
The cows
and the geese
all feed and release
Sun's heat
Born of
cloud
nebula
Gravity pulls
harder still
as it shrinks
the pressure grows
now middle
explodes!
Banshee arms
hot gases rise
frantically reaching
for the skies

Makes a magnetic shield
From sun’s harmful
Charged barrage

Life and sight
Plants change
Sunlight
Into food
All life
Is solar powered
Our star of the hour
Our closest star
We eat its heat
Then grimace and guffaw
